Played an hour or so of this last night and, for a preview title, this runs remarkably well. It also looks very pretty, the lighting and depth of field to the house and tree's in background is done very well. I've done all the story stuff (it's very short) but the potential here is high.
Played an hour or so tonight. Still as fun as the previous beta. Got killed by a few ants, had trouble finding water. Will pop back into it over the upcoming months as more updates come out before giving it a good go once it hits full release.
Been doing great on Steam, No 1 since release helped by plenty of streamers playing it and the clip friendly Spider screams.
An Unreal Engine experiment with huge demands on Xbox One and PC GPUs alike. Developer Obsidian has forged a survival game with a compelling gameplay loop - but the visual tricks it uses to render a giant back yard can be impressive up close. Tom investigates how close the Xbox One version gets to PC - and how performance stacks up.
Join Shyla, Obsidian's Social Media Manager, while she shows off some of the new content added to Grounded. From new daily BURG.L quests, new recipes you can collect, stronger enemies, plus a new aquatic friend, UI changes and more, this update brings with it so much we really couldn’t cover it all in this video!
Our goal from the start was to include the community in the development in Grounded, and with that, we want to be as transparent as possible with features we plan to work on. This feature board includes high-level details on plans for Grounded, and we would like to update it as we progress each month
As a caveat, we are still in active development, and this board is subject to change based on your feedback, the state of development, what's best for the game, the unknown, and our future plans. Nothing is set in stone and features could be moved up, pushed back, or unfortunately removed.
Details on certain features may remain vague until we are more confident in the idea, and we want to keep a few things secret to keep your experience exciting and unexpected.
