Surely there's nothing to stop us having simultaneous GRplaydes, is there? I mean, if you start one that garners enough interest without the need for a vote does it really matter?

I'm up for this as I never really gave it a chance first time around, I was up for the Majora's Mask one because it's my favourite Zelda game, if you want one for a different game, start a thread and see what happens.

Have a look at the last time we tried a vote.

You closed the poll without warning when your choice was winning, then a proper poll was set up resulting in a different, rigthful winner :?:

Right, can we just make it something that GRPlayde isn't anything special and it's just people who want to play a game together at the same time? It's pissing me off the people who complain that their game didn't win.

Just ignore them from now on, we're not derailing another thread.

On the podcast/mumble idea, I'm not sure it' worth recording anything, by all means get together at a set time and start from a certain area so we can talk our way through on Mumble, but I'm not sure anybody outside the thread would be interested in listening to out shenanigans so going to all the trouble of editting the crap seems like more effort than it's worth.

Hopefully my gamecube memory cards still work, not put them in in ages, shame my Gamecube stopped reading disks. Oh well thank the lord for the Wii!

Saying that, a couple of months back I used my PS1 cards and they were fine.

I'm not sure why I'm bothered as I'll do a whole playthrough anyway, but atleast if I've got my save I can always skip to the final boss and finish with everyone.

Do you have any ideas for a better checkpoint system than the one I briefly outlined in the first post?

Checkpoints you could do arwing sections I guess.

I don't think you should bother with checkpoints if I'm honest and just let people play though at their own speed.

 I really can't understand why Herbi is so bitter about GRPlayde Deus Ex. I can only assume it's because it's a PC game. Oh well. Carry on!

Bitter? I bought it and played but didn't like it so I stopped.

And I'm fairly sure he was talking about the Majoras Mask one which I also bought and played until Spirit Tracks came along.

Why either of you are posting in here when you clearly have no intention of playing along is beyond me, but then I suppose I am, quite stupidly, responding to your gooseberry fool so I've only myself to blame, I'll stop now.

If people fancy doing the Mumble thing then I think Tuesday would be the best day to kick things off (probably from the opening titles so everyone's together) as Monday I'm busy with Motorstorm and wouldn't want to be in a rush to squeeze some time for this in.

Tuesday at 8pm anyone?

Don't forget Banjo won't be joining us. Well he might be playing it, or Sarge might be playing it for him we just don't know, but he won't be able to record his adventures on here.
