OOT wins it, the main playde will be of the greatest game ever made

Oh and just so we're not confusing what actually happened for your "special" version of events, OOT led from the start to the end, I was checking since I opened the poll. The only time it changed was after I said the poll was closed, when two people changed one of their votes to MM.

EDIT: Actually, I was out from 3 - 6 when I closed the poll so don't know what happened in this time.

Herbi if you wanted to do a thing on OOT then why make a poll, just start one on OOT and invite people to join you. No need to rig polls.

And you complain that people who vote won't play the game, and you voted on grplayde 2 and didn't make a single post about deus ex or even start playing it.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

I'm going to play through ALTTP, I think.

I still think a 'Zelda love-in thread' is a better idea, though. These playde's haven't worked particularly well in the past, we won't have participants to pull it off. Can't see it succeeding over Christmas. I'm happy to be proven wrong, though.

:| Papes worked wonderfully well.

Speaking of which, I went back to it for a little bit the other night. :o Went back to the moon to see if TEC had anything interesting to say, he didn't, and then I solved one of the troubles.

I'm sure you enjoyed it, but how many people actually finished the game? I'm sure it's a tiny number compared to the number who signed up. Papes was the best playde though, as a few of you finished it together, and received custom sigs etc. The other playde's just seemed to fizzle out, though.

You need to put the game away Nood

And Mario RPG didn't really work because people (including me) were expecting it to be something it wasn't and were probably disappointed with it.

True there were only a few of us who finished, but the small numbers just brought us together as a team.

Yeah, that happened to me. I feel bad for letting the side down.

I don't think any of them could really be called a roaring success, though. I'm aware I'm coming across as extremely negative, don't get me wrong, in theory, playde is a great idea.

I'd suggest making a separate thread for each playde though, and archiving finished ones. Well, Papes anyway.

Exactly the same thing could happen with OOT. If people haven't played OOT for ages, they might find it a step too far back after the likes of TP/WW.

The Deus Ex GRplayde was a roaring success because it finally got me to sit down and play the thing - it now sits comfortably inside my top 10 of all time.

Such a good game.

I've just finished the OOT manga, so I'd be up for playing it again, despite it not being my first choice. I forgot how epic the whole thing was. I might even try and finish the useless PSP version I've got of it...

It will get my unconditional support for as long as it's kept apart from Super Mario Galaxy.

If the disc that came with Wind Waker isn't just Master Quest (whatever that was) I might just join in with this. :o

I'm pretty sure it has the regular version too. I played through it after Wind Waker.

OOT held up pretty favourably back then. I don't think the design evolved too much further with TP either.

Fair points, but I think the individual playdes success is just a matter of personal oppinion. I thought the replay of TTYD was great fun and the last boss fight together was awesome.

How long was the poll on for?! I left the forum last night after trying to fix the poll in the Playde thread (and failing). I come on GR now and it's already been and gone!

I would have voted for MM too. I'm a Playde veteran dammit, and my service has counted for nothing. I feel betrayed, hurt, disappointed and hurt.
