You're right, it's probably a stretch to have another pair this year and next but I felt that it would be a shame to go from one remake (ORAS) to, potentially, another (RBG).
I feel that, if Z really was going to come out, we would have heard about it by now. I can't see Emerald being re-released so my money is on new games. I think that RBG next year is more likely than a whole new adventure this year. I wouldn't mind seeing this year skipped as I still have to get to the first gym in Omega Ruby
This E3 is a weird one, because I really don't think they have much in the locker.
However, we finally get to see Starfox, which is one of my all time favourite series, which means its one of the more exciting E3s for me personally. One of my favourite E3 moments is still how amazing Starfox Adventures looked the first time we saw it. That blew my mind at the time, despite how poor it turned out to be.
Nintendo really need to make Starfox a replayable gamers experience. The worst case scenario is that they try and Wii Sports/Mii it up in a way that would ill fit that universe. I'd be so so dissappointed if they did that. I think Nintendo need to realise that that 'accesible for anyone' market is kinda dead to them, so I hope they don't cater to people who simply won't play this game, or haven't been waiting nearly a decade for it.
Mario Maker is such a non-event, it worries me that is becoming such a big deal. I do however think we'll see some big releases for 3DS be announced, which will great news.
If there's a new big title coming to Wii U I reckon Animal Crossing is the likeliest candidate, depending on whether you count Punch Out as a big Nintendo title.
I can't see Pokemon Z being announced, it's likely they will give Yokai Watch a big push instead. Animal Crossing U is probably the big unknown game we'll see at E3, I can't help but think they are going to push the big games back for NX
One thing I considered. With the NWC coming back this year is it possible that they could end it on a massive reveal? So the whole Digital Event and Treehouse till that point makes no mention of something, then they do a "Wizard" and end on a game we didn't see coming, or thought that they weren't working on?
Nintendo won't reveal anything until 2017. Next year we might get the thing's code name and a bit of spiel about changing the way we play, but otherwise it''ll be business as usual.
Pac-Man VS HD to be their E3 2015 headliner, guaranteed.

There has to be something starring Mario, so far I can't think of anything that's been rumoured.[/quote]
I can see a Paper Mario game and a remaster of Super Mario Sunshine being announced for Wii U. They'll save the next big 3D Mario game for the next consoles launch

Not at all. They've already said it won't be there.
I could see them going back on that though (it's not like anybody would complain) but maybe they're holding off on that until they have a firm release window. Maybe Gamescom?
