I'm happy to set up a standing order to donate today l regularly and I agree that we shouldn't do anything to make donators stand out to avoid any chance of an economic divide. The aim of this is to keep the forum running and alleviate GG from self-funding it (which I do commend him for doing so diligently and selflessly).

I had to self-fund a few times when I was in charge of the server account and it was strawberry floating annoying.

Also happy to donate a couple of quid a month. Absolutely no interest in any sort of visual recognition or similar, not sure why anyone would feel they needed that.

This place is my home on the internet to the point where I'm not really sure what being online would feel like without it. I'd definitely be down for a small monthly contribution (small as money is rather...lacking at the moment) but I don't want any type of recognition system. Those who don't want to pay shouldn't be, in effect, punished by having perks or even aesthetic detailing not available to them.

I don't care a jot about 'heated discussions' that's part of the reason I like forums. I'm talking about Mods (mostly ex mods) banning, censoring and berating me over the years and more importantly, forumites actually leaving because of some Mods. Mods we have now seem pretty chill tho.

I have, on occasion, been frustrated with some posting styles. But I've been a member of GR for close on seven years now and the "bad times" have, I feel, been far outweighed by the "good times". But, hey, everyone can, of course, make their own decision on that front.

I'd like to think I'm less of a banana split these days, and that buffalo would consider returning because I'm sure I'm a large(r) reason as to why he's not here much.
