Perhaps we should make up business cards for this place...

My girlfriend completed Layton way before I did, as did her friend actually who we spent a week with on holiday and she whizzed through it. Finally got around to finishing it recently actually, it's great. (I imported it, if this post doesn't seem to make much sense.)

I see a few people whip out a DS or PSP on the train, often with Brain Training and the like. I always have my handhelds with me on my commute, but I haven't ever struck up a conversation with anyone about it. Although the other day I was standing next to this guy and we were both reading the latest EDGE, we gave each other a surreptious glance, but that was as far as it went. Shame, there could have been a future there.

Y'know, that's not actually a bad idea. At the very least, a pile could 'accidentally' be left on the counter of a game shop.

And stickers! I'd stick them around Game, Gamestation and the likes, and around Uni.

Better yet...you could run around campus actually sticking them to people.

Y'know, like grenade tagging Gears of war style. You could also, if you wanted, go about it in a Mirror's edge sort of way.

I did that in Glasgow with Poopgang 'business cards' (just printed off my PC), just left them sitting on shelves in game shops and sliding them into magazines in Borders. Don't think it worked though, but then again would you visit a site name "Poopgang" if you found one of those cards?

Maybe all of his social relationships involve standing near people and not actually engaging in any sort of conversation.

EDIT: Sorry, DD64. No offence intended. Just a funny image. In my head, at least.

None taken. To be honest I would have liked to talk to them but I was wearing a black hoody (it was the only 'jacket' type thing I could find in a rush before I left home that day) so I didn't want to risk a bad reaction to a random person wearing a black hoody talking to them at 11 at night on the train, and then sit opposite them the rest of the way (the train was pretty full and it'd have been hard for me to get out).

You don't know how close I was to mentioning grcade in the community section of my essay on 'Has the internet changed out life in a good way' (OWTTE). I was rushed for time so skipped over the whole online gaming/community bit so it never went in. Looking back, I should have at least included community things like facebook looking back on it. Oh well.
