I assume the story continues after you complete 1 run?

Yes. There is a specific number of completed runs that triggers the credits (the number is 10), but there is a lot of play post-credits to conclude the intertwining stories of all the characters.

That's one thing I don't really like about the game. The music is not really interesting to me.

I continue my streak of clearing Asphodel on first attempt. Also my streak of getting my arse handed to me all of a few rooms into Elysium.

On the plus side...

Finished this off last night. Took ages to get the last companion, I think it was about twenty runs after doing everything else. Which did sour the experience a little, but it was still a brilliant game.

Nice!

The real grind is trying to unlock all of the house contractor improvements so you're probably better off stopping there if you were already done with getting the last companion!

Yeah I'm just bothered with the achievements as per usual. Luckily none of them are tied to the house contractor.

Getting all the contractor furnishings sounds nuts.

The statue? You'll never guess what the other rewards are! I think it's pretty funny though tbh

32 heat is a great challenge though regardless of reward.

I hate the boss fight in Elysium. Hate hate hate it. I've beaten the game and am currently playing through to complete prophecies and moving towards what I think will be an epilogue and this fight is making me not want to play anymore at times.

It's not that's unfair or massively challenging, it's just so boring compared to every other fight in the game, especially when I've been unfortunate to not build into a run with decent DPS. A blemish on an otherwise outstanding game.

Are you playing the normal version or extreme measures version? I actually think the extreme measures version of that boss specifically is easier and having extreme measures 3 on all the time is a bit more fun.

That boss can be a real pain in the hole if you aren't dealing enough DPS.

I'm still playing this also

Kind of addicted.

And look at all those death defiances ffs! (I actually think that's where the HP regen came in, bc I was out of dd.)

The very next run :toot:

It definitely becomes easier when you've beaten him once and know it can be done. The buffs just keep getting better too.

Yeah. I have a good chunk of the mirror unlocked, and Demeter has shown up as well :toot: Now I just need the Artemis boon which speeds up Demeter's cast laser tracking boon and everything will be good. For one run.

I knew I was in a good run because Daedalus Hammer showed up at Charon's! Made a ton of runs on PC and I don't think I ever saw it on sale in there before.
