Hades - Escaping Hell - first video game to win a Hugo Award!

- It was to be expected that all versions used very similar settings.
- The Switch version is more recommended in portable mode. Provides a cleaner image on a small screen.
- Series S, Series X and PS5 are identical versions. The only differences are in loading times (slightly faster on Xbox) and a bit more stuttering on PS5.
- This game must be played, no matter the platform, but play it.

Really enjoying this. The hydra keeps strawberry floating me over though. Just unlocked the spear so will try that next.

No, you're not. You'll come back, you'll manage your health, consumables and whatever else better in future fights against him and you'll eventually win, and that 2nd health bar won't even get a second thought. I mean, it's not the first time the game's totally unfair on you and you still managed to get to him. Calm down a bit and then give it another shot.

Gonna get into Psychonauts for a bit then will see if I have a desire to play Hades again.

Are you playing with God Mode on? I found that a good way to break the back of it and get a few complete runs in, unlock some plot points and some house contractor currency to make future runs a little easier.

Is there anything more to play for in terms of story after fulfilling the Family Reunion prophecy?

I'd thought that was a mode that made you completely invincible. Will maybe give that a shot next time.

That's pretty much the end of it story-wise, unless you have individual character stories unfinished. Off the top of my head have you brought Nyx and Chaos together, "romanced" Meg, Than and Dusa, and altered the pacts for Achilles, Orpheus and Sisyphus?

Gameplay challenges left have you beaten extreme measures Hades or done a 32 heat clear for the statue unlock by Skelly?

Congrats on getting to the family reunion though, I imagine most people don't as it is quite a long slog after the main story ending!

Yet to get to the end of Tartarus or whatever it’s called. Not sure what to do other than button bash Y and X with some dashes occasionally.
