For a full game £40 is about what I'd expect/hope.

It's clear that the Knuckles controllers will give some additional fidelity to the fine hand movements, but I'm not worried that Rift or Vive will be too much different.

True but £40 is my upper limit. I don't need to bother now as I will get it for free. I suppose spending 1k on hardware does have a benefit at times.

It's as long as Half Life 2, Mike Laidlaw was indirectly involved, it's the biggest team they've ever had working on a game.

And I'd only just managed to talk myself out of spending a fortune on a VR headset.

Funnily enough, more than the cost, it was the idea of having a Facebook product with a load of cameras all over the outside of it inside my home, that put me off the Quest. If there's another company out there that can produce a headset like the Quest, standalone, but also allowing tethered use, I'd consider biting again.

Ravenholm is overrated anyway, it's a poor man's They Hunger.

My suspicion would be that we see the fall of Ravenholm for ourselves and it's gonna be terrifying.
