I generally prefer to do nothing for Halloween. It is a big deal here, with a big street party downtown and people spending ludicrous amounts of money on outdoor decorations. This year unfortunately I have to go to a small party as our friend moved into the most Halloween obsessed neighbourhood in the whole city. I'm a miserable arsehole and hate kids, so I'm not looking forward to it.

I don't do anything bar have some sweets on hand in case any spawn turn up, but as nobody did last year I won't bother this time.

I really hate the way Halloween has gone full American now and pretty much just means generic fancy dress.

I decided to carve some pumpkins for Halloween.

I am not very good, but I think I did a decent job. My neighbour was laughing at me though, what a prick he is.

My house looks like Haunted Mansion. The three bed version.

Kids have their costumes. Eldest is going as Harley Quinn and the little one as Wednesday Adams. They're very excited about trick or treating tonight.

I've got TWD S1 installed and ready to play in between dishing out treats for the neighbourhood kids.

Glimpsing through the Freeview menu for 9pm movies tonight, there's a choice between The Witch, Saw,The Others, Sleepy Hollow, the original Stephen King's It and Insidious.

Much better showing than last year.
