Returned to the Campaign last night after stopping at the Destroying the AA Guns mission when the game launched.
Rather enjoying returning back and just exploring/blasting my way through the open world. It definitely burnt me out when it launched having just played another open-world game, but hoping to get this all completed over the next couple of weeks.
Wonder if we'll see the rumoured Battle Royal revealed on Sunday at the showcase?

In the weird 'disrupting teaser' of their last stream they have the date for Tuesday 14th in it somewhere (date for Extended showcase), so it could be a tiny reveal on Sunday with the explanation and info on Tuesday.
Completed campaign finally. Liked that the second half of the game for main missions turned back into a 'normal' Halo campaign with continuous missions and set areas.
I enjoyed the open world a bit but not clamouring to return to it for post-game bits to complete 100%.
It's not an "explanation floating around" it's the literal dev's response. If it's not true then it's a MAJOR issue but ok an Era Halo modder who doesn't work on Infinite or 343 as it can't be modded yet thinks other wise so.....
Also: 'Bonobo' has been in use since Bungie, and technically Bungie could still be using the name...

Co-op testing starts week of 15th July. You have to stay within 1000ft of your co-op partners. Progress in co-op counts towards your original save file. Mission replays coming alongside co-op. New achievements like killing an enemy with a hammer in a warthog driven by another player.
Still no date for the official launch Hope it's not too long after the "please be our beta testers" trial.
Feels a bit disappointing they've decided to go for a random godkill-if-you-stray-too-far, thing, too. All this time thinking about how to make open-world co-op work, and that's the best they've managed to come up with?
