I'm assuming their is crossplay across the various formats on this? It does raise an interesting point because there will definitely be an advantage to playing at 120FPS pseudo 4K on the XSX compared to someone rocking the ropey old One S version of the game!

As a 38year year old, and no Ronaldo, I am way past my best. I could play at 240FPS and any res, there are going to be plenty of spritley kids teabagging my face.

Happens already in Warzone, Fortnite, Rocket League etc, Switch players on Apex Legends are at a massive disadvantage.

Going by the Beta (and MCC) you can separate cross play via input as in you can play v PC players who are on joypad (not on mouse) and vice versa.

Oh yeah I'm not suggesting it's a unique scenario to this game!

Filtering so you can play against only controller based players is good, but it feels like more options to level the playing field across the different platforms might be helpful, even if it's all optional.

Out of interest have they said if you can use KB+M on the console versions or will that be limited to PC? Also pretty much every game on PC these days supports live switching of input types - so you can start playing on controller and then just swap to keyboard whenever you want without needing to change a setting or anything, I wonder how the matchmaking would handle that

I presume you can use KB+M on Series Consoles as you can on MCC and I think it kicks you from playlists if you do change. MCC literally shows a controller beside peoples names before a match (I only play cross play and filter out those filthy KB+M players) :shifty:

Game Pass Ultimate members will also receive monthly multiplayer bonuses as part of the Perks program.

Not a surprise but good to see it confirmed.

The PC and Sandbox Teams for Halo Infinite have built the PC experience from the ground up to ensure you have a great experience in-game, out-of-game, and off the screen. Buckle up, and hear directly from the devs about what you can expect at launch on December 8.

---------------------

Looking ahead, we’ve identified opportunities for additional configuration options, performance tweaks, and memory improvements across both PC as well as console and we’re working together on more optimization solutions that should benefit all platforms. Most excitingly though, we’re looking forward to working closely with AMD to bring raytracing to Halo Infinite. Raytracing is one our top development priorities post-launch and look forward to sharing more soon.

Nice - good that they're giving the options and letting players pick how they want to play and who they want to play against

10 mins to go. I'm expecting some short clips with devs talking about the gameplay systems. Lengthy demo announced for the 15th.

Not seen it all, need to pop out. But looks decent, looks like a mix of rage/rage 2 and Halo. Be interesting to see how they weave the story in, rather than lots of individual ‘missions’ to kill this/defend that, etc.

Looks OK. But I never really got all the outrage about last year’s video.

I thought that looked really good!

Lots of mobility on display from Chief, hopefully the promise of being able to tackle things in various ways pays off

Hope that was Series X footage cos it looked lovely. Seems to be many collectibles in each area and I’ll be hunting them all down.

Big fan of ‘the weapon’ too, she’s so naive.
