Are you referring to that time you incorrectly said you had to play through the entire game in a single sitting, and started having a gooseberry fool fit when I told you you had no idea what you were talking about? I thought delaying things until they’re ready was all the rage now.

I presume a release date will drop at Gamescom Xbox event on Tuesday, because they kinda time constrained to do that and it’ll shift on from the bad news.

Halo 5 was 6 (six) years ago, and their latest effort doesn’t even have campaign co-op, which to be fair to them is a massive ask…except every other Halo has had it.
This will be the last Halo game made by 343, guaranteed. A spectacular blunder after another.

Dying Light 2 releases Dec 7th, they gonna be pished if its that.

To be honest, talking about the entire game for this is a bit of a misnomer. Given they've gone down the "live service" route, it's going to be hard to ascertain what exactly the entire game entails.

That said, shifting the co-op mode to a later date, presumably so they can package a fairly basic, standard feature as some seasonal content/update is a case of them adopting the standard love service model of "let's get the basic stuff out there and worry about updating it later".

Unfortunately that's just how these games work. Think of Destiny 1 at launch, or how bad Fallout 76 was. I don't think Infinite is going to be as bad as that, or as bare as others were, but there will probably be things we expect from a Halo game that won't be there at launch.

Eurogamer are reporting the 8th December date as fact now, though it seems to only be on the basis of the same store page mentioned above.

Well it’s not based only on the store page, The Verge has verified it (if you read the article) and to be honest, they probably know themselves.

Read an article (can’t recall where) that basically said campaign is still being polished and it’s tight, but big push. Authors of said article were surprised it wasn’t/isn’t being shown at gamescom.

I’ve got an elite controller. Nice feel and weight. Looks tidy in the green and gold and the ‘117’ is a nice touch. Still not worth £100+. I got one ‘used - like new ‘ from Amazon and luckily it was brand new, customer returned, for £60.
