It fits with the original, while definitely feeling quite modern. I liked the extra sections in between the challenges as well. Educating Grado was damn great. :lol:

All the hosts are great and Trevor McDonald is perfect.

I did really enjoy this.

I'm in the midst of watching it... great stuff! It captures the feel of the original whilst keeping it interesting; it was a difficult challenge and it seems that they've done a very good job. It's lovely to see a videogame programme again!

Really enjoying this! Just about halfway through it. I didn't know Trevor Mcdonald was the ganesmaster - he absolutely nails it!

The state of that guys eyebrows what the Frick? Though think it's funny that Mario starts the series just like the first ever series with a speed run on Mario 3... Yeah I'm that old to remember.

Absolutely brilliantly done reboot. Hats off to them. Theres enough new stuff there to justify its existence.

Enjoyed it way more than I should have done. Some of Rab’s lines didn’t land at all, but generally entertaining.

It's very good, isn't it.

A lot of the time when they try and reboot stuff from a particular era, though mainly the 90s, it rarely retains the look or feel of the era it came out of. There's almost always something that ruins it (the set will be strawberry floating diabolical, or the graphics don't look right, the formula has been overly altered, the presenter is an arsehole...) and yet here they've pulled it off extremely well, it must be said. The way it looks and the building they've chosen to film it in is just...spot on. Surprisingly impressive. The casting is also great.

Now, where's the magazine...

Good length as well I found, I thought the old GM was only 30 mins with adverts?

Is it any good for someone who absolutely did not watch GamesMaster as a kid?

I think you'd still find most of it to be pretty fun, Cuttooth. Elements do play on the history of the show but, generally, it's just a good watch.

Its brilliant.

Just watched most of it (skipped tbe second challenge as spectating FPSs bores the gooseberry fool out of me) and its pretty good.

Seems to be very diverse, and not just in terms of the people on it, there seems a wide range of game genres featured and the presenters aren't too annoying.

The MK challenge at the end was good, reminded me of playing MK3 against my brother in front of a 14 inch TV, good times.
