I thought that bit specifically was a little ridiculous myself, although I'm willing to forgive a little bit of the believability boundaries being pushed. I just hope they don't get carried away.

I treat this show as existing in its own strange nightmare world. The dreamlike horror of the crime scenes adds to this.

They've already gotten carried away, I guess you've just got to think of it as not being set in reality which I guess is why they never show anything of the ordinary. It's just a nightmarish fantasy world where you're either dead, waiting to die or a murderous psychopath.

Do we all think Beverly is definitely dead, then, and not a prisoner in Hannibal's home with the possibility of escape?

I haven't read any spoilers on it but I don't think she is dead.

I dont know why, but that sounds strawberry floating incredible.

She obviously isn't going to escape and identify Hannibal any time soon, though, as I doubt he will be identified as the killer for a long while.

If you want to know the actual answer from showrunner Bryan Fuller:

She's incredibly dead and is the crime scene in the next episode.

If you're conflicted, don't read it.

I had to unfollow Fuller on twitter because of the amount of spoilers he posts. :fp: He's relentless.

I only recently found out Hugh Dancey was English.

I guess I shouldn't be shocked, it's the in thing these days to have a British lead doing an American accent. Not that I'm complaining. He's great.

Watched ep 3 yesterday. Thrilling.

Episode 4 was amazing.

Season 2 is managing to surpass Season 1, thus far.

Nice to see Will being far far less passive and reactive

Wasn't Gideon dead after Will shot him? :|

This show  The writing, the acting, the sounds and the visuals are all top notch.

Brilliant episode and even the preview of next weeks (was watching while eating and couldn't get there quick enough) was genius.
