I find myself constantly second guessing what I write, rewriting entire sentences or just flat out not posting, all just to avoid being quoted in the context thread :fp: As if it matters.

I'll write something like "i was gripping so hard that my wrist started to cramp", think
Image

..delete it, then change it to "The way I hold the controller means I get cramp"

Whoever started that thread is a monster :capnscotty:

I haven't changed at all. I maintain my posting style, a sturdy penetration of the most pressing issues.

If there is a thought that I want to share then I just take hold of it and keep going until I've got it out there.

Does being quoted in that thread bother you? It just seems like a bit of fun so I am not fussed if somebody
quotes me.

No, it's the challenge to not get quoted.

This is the way I look at posting habits. Once you get going, it's hard to stop until you've climaxed and gotten it all out there. I still haven't climaxed so I'm not going to stop any time soon. There's still so much juice flowing, so much left to say and do.

I already don't post everything I'm going to/want to say because I get worried that I'm not going to actually get what I want to say across because of the feeling I get that I'm not explaining myself well enough. Or I get worried that a joke I may make will make someone angry... the context thread has nothing to do with it.

I love it when I get one rammed right in to the no context thread if I'm totally honest.

Not at all, in fact I sometimes deliberately put innuendos in my posts to see if anyone bites.

True, but I still try to shove something disgusting in there and try to pull it off without anyone noticing.

I don't think my style has changed. I get in, spurt out what I want and then withdraw for someone else to clean up the mess.
