I am now not interested in this show.

Pedro Pascal is good (although he's literally everywhere now) but I strawberry floating hate Bella Ramsey's acting ability, or more appropriately, lack thereof.

Honestly, she's going to be an awful, awful Ellie.

Has she been in anything else? I'd assumed she acted the way she did in GoT as that's how she was directed...

She was in the latest TV version of His Dark Materials.

If you’re going to say she lacks of the ability to act, I have to ask...

So what year did you win a BAFTA for Best Young Performer for your leading role in a TV series?

And how was she in that?

(I really need to get around to starting that...)

Only a small role but yeah she's good. Her character is similar to her GoT one.

She was good in Game of Thrones but I thought she was pretty bad in the small role she had in His Dark Materials but so are most of the cast in that show.

Pedro Pascal should be good too, if anything he seems too likeable to be Joel.

Wait, is that the grumpy kid from game of thrones? Uh oh.

Mind you, Ellie is a stroppy twat anyway so it should suit it.

I strawberry floating love Pedro Pascal... But that's the problem.

Had he ever played a role where he hasn't been inherently likable? Even his villainous role in WW84 relied on his charm.

Joel is, should not be, likeable.

We'll see though.

Well that's okay, cause it's already a film.

Pedro Pascal can act and obvs. has so much good will from the Mandalorian. The gruff exterior with soft heart should be a great fit for Joel and I can see him becoming one of the biggest actors in Hollywood. Bella Ramsey I only know from Game of Thrones playing that child leader shouting orders, I thought her acting was Hollyoaks standard at best. Also, she is 17. I know she looks young but I hope they don't get her to do an impersonation of a 13 year old. Fingers crossed Neil Druckmann saw something in her and especially the two of them together.

I've only seen him in Narcos, and I don't think you could call his character in that inherently likeable.
