I'm the same. I'm hoping for close to £900 from richer sounds or John Lewis ideally.

So it's £940 from Costco, which apparently richer sounds price match - if I buy the membership (which apparently you need to prove you have to get the price match, and it's £15) and then get the £10 off that's essentially £945 from RS.

I might bite the bullet :shifty:

Oooh that's tempting.
Not sure if the price match with RS is necessary though, Costco have a 5 year warranty and customer service is great there.

I wish I could fit a 65" in Ad, but my space is too small. :(

Ah, if their customer service is good then that changes things - main reason I cared about richer sounds / John Lewis.

Hmm, might end up going for it. It's a lot of money for a TV, but I'm only going to want to get one eventually...

strawberry float it, went for it. I've been planning for this for a long time, no point talking myself out of it now.

It's actually illegal to move into a new house and not buy a new TV in the process

That's pretty much my thought process :slol:

Also, my old TV has been in the living room at my mum's since I moved back - it's a 42" thing, and a great (1080p) panel but just no smart TV stuff as it's more than 10 years old. Part of my justification is "Well, I can leave my old TV with my mum, and then she doesn't have to pay for a new one" :slol:

So I think Costco have cancelled my order and not told me yet - the tracking had has stalled and the charge has disappeared from my credit card. I've ordered from richer sounds just in case as their deal ends today, and was able to specify Saturday delivery which massively helps me. At least I'll probably have a couple of days until it's despatched, so have time to figure out what's happening with Costco, and can cancel if needed.

I'm going to end up with 2 TVs aren't I.

I have a TV related quandary. The set in our play room has just died and so I'm left with a choice of either replacing with a sub £400 set (4K min) or biting the bullet and relegating the main set to the second room and splurging on a new set. Money is an issue, particularly at the moment, but I'm thinking that sub £1k on interest free for 18 months to 2 years is probably manageable. If I went down the route of the 2nd option then I'd be looking for something around 55" and HDMI 2.1 compat for the Series X. Any suggestions on options 1 and 2?

If you want a 55" with HDMI 2.1 for less than a grand go for the LG OLED C1, currently just under that at richer sounds, offer ends today.

This is insane. Dual 75" 4K TV Floor Computing. It actually looks like a kid's model furniture set.
