My brother and his now wife were together for 19 years (10 of which living together) before getting engaged and married in the space of 6 weeks.

They're also expecting their first child early next year.

My granny passed away yesterday. She was my last living grandparent.

It's simple to rationalise why it's a big news story but all of this attention on the Queen is hitting too close to home and I'm just feeling weird about it. Today being really stormy isn't helping either. It's all coincidentally cataclysmic and making it difficult to think about anything else.

(Although now I'm distracted wondering what I was relived about in the post above so that's something!)
