Yeah, I haven't looked at Prime Video in ages and was surprised at some of the things on there.

I have NowTV at the moment (entertainment pass) and apart from the walking dead there is nothing I want to watch

The only bad about South Park? They said JJ Abrams saved Star Wars. They have a weird way of spelling "destroyed".

Oh, well that really depends on your point of view. Can't say I agree with it, either. I might rate Force Awakens higher than A New Hope, but I always found the Rebels trailers gave me more hype at Celebration than any of those for the new trilogy. And The Clone Wars was already keeping Star Wars going way before the new trilogy was heard of.

In all fairness the Rise of Skywalker was very good, given what it was working with, and Force Awakens was good, even if it was a retread. But Last Jedi was a garbage fest and JJ Abrams made the fatal flaw at the beginning of the trilogy to not plan out his mystery in a mystery box series

That's exactly it. There felt like very little planning had gone into making the trilogy a strong cohesive trilogy. Episode by episode, it works fine, but seen as what it's meant to be, it falls apart. I'm also of the stance that Rise of Skywalker was good considering what it was working with (except for the fleet battle at the end. That... no), but with planning everything, or at least working together instead of against each other when it comes to going from film to film, the trilogy as a whole could have been a whole lot better.

My course/department gave out dissertation extensions to all 3rd year undergrads, so if I ignore the collapse of human society around me, gooseberry fool's pretty gucci rn

Bought some currency from Zambia a few weeks back because it looked cool. I paid 50p per banknote in the london coin shop i know (before everything started shutting down). Just now though, i was curious as to the exchange rate value, and it turns out my 1000 kwacha note is worth £50! Not bad for a 50p investment lol

You would think a shop that sells coins would be aware of the value or even anyone selling any sort of currency would do a quick google search to find the value before selling it, will you be cashing it in or keeping it?

Don't think there's anywhere i can actually cash it in anyways, that's probably why they were cheap lol.

Nah, they're just a colourful new addition to my rather large collection now.

Been pretty down and out with a cold all week. Ireland is still essentially on lockdown. But Disney+ is coming on Tuesday which is perfect timing really!

Hopefully that's nothing serious, but here's hoping you get better. Disney+ should definitely help with that.

I think there was actual official advice to only check the news once or twice a day
