So since the beginning of Twilight Princess, I've been looking at this place by where the guy who gave us the lantern is. There was a boulder by his house.
Had to wait to unlock bombs.
Destroyed the boulder.
Behind the boulder was a place with an owl statue.
Had to wait to unlock the Dominion Rod which moves this statue.
Finally, after six dungeons, unlocked the Rod. Completed the dungeon I found it in (the Temple of Time) and was so excited to go use the Rod on the owl statue by the lantern guy's house.
The moment I left the dungeon, this bird chick who was meant to be my friend stole the Rod off of me. Me and this bird went through thick and thin together. She was there for every dungeon. She even let me look after her son. We were tight. And then she goes ahead and destroys my hopes and dreams. Now I have to chase her into yet another dungeon before I figure out what's the secret by the lantern guy's house.
It's probably going to be a boring secret. Another piece of heart or a purple rupee or something. But damn that secret has been teasing me the entire game. Looking forward to tomorrow's play session!!
