What really happened was the first time he went, he accidentally went one too many spaces down in the menu and ended up with an afro. As soon as he left, someone laughed at him, so after punching them so hard they ended up in Las Venturas, he went to another barbers to avoid the embarrassment of admitting a mistake.

i woke up today to find my bathtub full of custard with a shopping trolley also thrown in for good measure
additionally my phone is strawberry floated beyond all belief and wont switch on anymore so yay for me

I spent over an hour trying to bullshit a personal statement for a job application then when I submitted it my login had timed out and I couldn't go back and I lost the entire thing and now I want to jump off a building

I really hate it when job applications do that. "Here. Answer this questionnaire to give us an idea of yourself. Now we want to see a personal statement, but make sure to write it in here even though we want it spell-checked and grammatically correct. You didn't? You typed it somewhere else? Sorry, we logged you out for inactivity, but you can go through the entire thing again now that you have a personal statement."

Thankfully I've not ran into such a system many times, but you would think something that splits the entire thing into sections and saves after every section completed wouldn't be too hard to implement.

And I'm good, thanks. Been a nice day.

In a lot of cases, these systems are designed to deter applicants, making the job of whoever is sifting through completed applications that bit easier by putting people off from submitting one in the first place.

I just find applying for jobs hard work, lack of motivation (despite wanting to actually find something new) and I really struggle to sell myself to a potential new employer means I spend lots of time looking for new jobs, not much time actually applying.
