An email address comes before that, at the basic assessment of whether you appear professional enough in your application to even be worth considering. I'd recommend again that you play it safe with a simple name-only email address. If you weren't having success before, I highly highly doubt it was because you had a generic email address, but I can believe that you might have been filtered out on other applications because of an email address that appears unprofessional.

It's barely any effort on your part and you shouldn't feel like it's giving any concession to your own personality or anything!

That's certainly put things in perspective, and I feel that you're right. When I get back to it, I'll swap back to that name-only email I was using before. Thanks.

I know. It was a genuine thanks. Sorry if the tone sounded condescending or similar.

Totally forgot to make a post about this. So I was shopping in Basingstoke a couple weeks ago for Father's day, and I saw this guy in a shop who looked JUST LIKE Brokoon. So naturally, I was staring at this boy, like I usually do with Brokoon when he doesn't know I'm around, but I was like, what could he possibly be doing here in Basingstoke? So I'm staring at this boy for like 10 whole seconds, eventually he must have felt my eyes burning through the back of his skull, cause he turns his head slightly and looks directly at me, then away again, like normal people usually do in public when they accidentally lock eyes, but not me. I swear to god for a split second I STILL thought it was Brokoon, so continued to stare, like I usually do with Brokoon, but then eventually I realised, oh, this isn't my boy Brokoon, and stepped away feeling awkward and ashamed, like I usually do after staring at Brokoon.

Tldr; Brokoon needs to stop tricking me with his semi-perfect clones

You've probably seen me all over the place, orange lions can be quite conspicuous.

I ship it

I'm feeling rather tired right now. You ever have those weeks where you seem to make crap of everything you set your mind to? Not fun. It's almost a new week though! Grey skies are gonna clear up

That's what you get for not living alone in a single bedroom apartment and never leaving the house.

To be honest I really do need to move out as it’s becoming a much more regular occurrence where I get annoyed even at relatively minor things (edit, not really angry or anything just feel exasperated as to why it’s even done in the first place) Where I live is definitely on the more expensive side though and I’ve only got my wages to go from, not an awful wage for the job (retail btw) but not exactly amazing when its the sole income. At the minute I’m just saving as much as I can for a deposit for if anything catches my eye then I might be good to go.

Feeling great. A lady just got back to me, I'm going to be moving to a new goat farm on the 22nd. Guys I recommend you give Woofing a try. It's where you can work on farms, staying there for free. Great way to get in touch with the quieter side of life. Some places, like dairy farms, are backbreaking work, but it's so worth it.

This sounds a lot like the time that guy on a forum convinced me to give dogging a try.

Nervous. Got a presentation to do on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and it will be the first time I've done it without any support. Oh and it's in Germany to a bunch of technical experts. :dread:

I mean I know my stuff but the thought of doing it on my own is a bit scary but exciting at the same time... gotta live outside the comfort zone!!

Sounds like an interesting thing to be doing. I'm looking on the website and there are plenty of places in just the UK. When you do start up there, would you share some experiences?
