Ah, okay. Initially thought it was like a "GRcade is closing up shop" thing

I love this - assume it's your creation?

Thanks, and yeah my creation ^_^ Threw in two inside references for you, cause your username/avatar stem from that character :slol:

Minish Cap is great also

Yeah, Minish Cap is the greatest. It's amazing how well it holds up even to this day, it's like I'm playing a game Nintendo would release on the Switch, albeit with a lower resolution. There's actually a bunch of puzzles in it that are more than the usual run-of-the-mill "push box onto the button". Never Layton-tricky, but completely satisfying. Very enjoyable way to spend downtime.

I had no idea this was posted! my bad.

Basically I did a little better than last year but still crashed out of day 1 rather than making it through to day 2, where the cash prizes etc are found. I had an amazing time in America and my status as a minor Pokemon celebrity was proven to be still growing - people were coming up to me for selfies, to sign stuff, or just to talk for a few minutes cos they recognised me from twitter. It was an incredible week, one of the best of my life tbh. Washington DC is insanely hot in summer though, 35 degrees but felt like 45 some days - I wouldn’t rush back!

Honestly it's incredibly strange and a little bit humbling. I don't consider myself to be a great player or anything, and I dont consider myself to be that big of a twitter personality (I have around 800 followers), but I guess that resonates with people. It's genuinely lovely and I'm still working out how to deal with it!

That's really cool! Congratulations! Shame you didn't go all the way but it sounds like you had a great experience.

A lot of people don't realise how far south DC is - I spent a few weeks in the Library of Congress about five years ago and it was 20-25 degrees in late October/early November. :slol:

Should have done this two days ago, but with my fifth book self-published to the Kindle Store, I've given my signature a bit of an update to reflect the new addition.

The Future Adventures of Halesowen follows on from Alternate Adventures of Halesowen (who'd've guessed it would) looking at the media students in their second year finding and forging their own futures. Same as AAH, it's a short story collection that follows the timeline of events through different points-of-view. Along with a focus on their futures, there's also focus put into fixing rifts both old and new that have formed within the group. Both previews that I have released will shortly be within the Writer's thread.

I had a big panic attack yesterday evening and today I am so drained of energy. I feel completely shattered.

ORs username had been changed to Danmonxmachina or something like that. Theres a member named Dan on here who has his username changed regularly, I'm sure Danmon was one of them at one point.

Thank you
