Slightly annoyed. Got randomly attacked by my old neighbour's Black Labrador today - managed to avoid teeth but had my arse clawed. I'm on a course of antibiotics and have had to have my left arse-cheek cleaned and covered (that's definitely going to appear in the out-of-context thread). Never been jumped by a dog before, and I realised on my trip home that i was suddenly really conscious of all big dogs. I need back-on-the-horse therapy and to roll around on the floor playing with a Lab like I usually would.

I've also had to throw out my boxers because of the large blood stain (which really didn't look too good).

Grumpy.

At least with rule 34 you get the option to have a wank over it.

Although I suppose some people might do that over Funko's too.

Not going to link you it because Karl (or whoever the actual admin is) might chop me into a million pieces and suck my ashes through a straw if I did that, but pretty sure there's rule 34 of Funko!

Guts been pretty bad for several years now but I'm poor as sin so haven't done something about it. Few weeks ago I vomited (for the first time in three years) a bunch of the stuff that was stuck in my gut (so basically black/dark brown flaky vomit). Tonight after doing my business the entire frame of the toilet bowl was covered in lines of blood, and now there's a lumpy pain in the middle of my chest (between the rib cages part). So in other words, if I'm screwed I'm screwed. If there's blood next time I do my business I'll go to the doctors.

So feeling pretty miffed right now!

What you've described is a medical emergency.

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/bleeding-from-the-bottom-rectal-bleeding/

Get advice from 111 now if:
* your poo is black or dark red
* you have bloody diarrhoea for no obvious reason

Go to A&E or call 999 if:
* you're bleeding non-stop
* there's a lot of blood – for example, the toilet water turns red or you see large blood clots

See the hesitation in contacting medical is that the bleeding was when I went, it wasn't bleeding afterwards. There was a lot of blood, but it was a once-off (not counting the vomit a few weeks ago). So I'm waiting til I have to go again, if there's still blood then it's medical time but all of the websites say that once-off bleeding is okay.
Plus there's the fact that I'm currently living on a farm a long way away from home. I have no GP up here and don't have the money to avail of hospital stuff if I was to call A&E, and unless it turns out to be an actual emergency I really don't want to piss off my boss/landlady by waking her up just cause my poo was a little funny.
Would you agree that waiting is the best option? If it WAS an emergency the blood would continue yeah?

I am not a clinician (I'm a medical scientist, not the kind of doctor who has patients) and as such I can't give you medical advice.

I would guess no, you shouldn't wait. If I (1) saw a lot of blood in the toilet (2) knew I'd vomited blood ("black and brown flakes") in recent memory and (3) was experiencing abdominal discomfort, that would be more than enough for me to call a taxi to go to A&E.

I don't think anybody agrees with that. Get to the doctors! If it is nothing then the doctor can tell you that, if it is something then you need to be looked at ASAP.

The drs is obviously the way to go. I had lots of the same issues and just ignored them for months, didn't really help in the end. Although I didn't die either so there is that. Faster you get seen the faster you can sorted.

I don't think the police would be interested in LW's anal blood story.

Opened my local town newspaper today, it is 16 pages long, and 10 of them were a special feature on death.

Sure cheered me up.

Rang up every GP in the county today, they're not taking on new medical card patients at the moment. I haven't had to go to the loo today, my stomach has been hurting but as soon as I go again if there's more blood I'll get the heck to the A&E. Thanks for the comments guys, especially Rocsteady's.

Moving swiftly on, that sure sounds like a delightful newspaper DJ!! Mini E, you should report the dog.
