A couple of nights ago in the evening we were sitting in bed watching tv and we had a window open, on came what I thought was a giant moth (I am really don’t like moths) but it was even worse as it made a weird noise and was flying into things with a lot of force, I go out of bed straight away and ran for the door, I don’t mind admitting it that I was terrified, my partner caught it in a jar and it was a beetle type thing that I have never seen before, I did some googling and it’s called a cockchafer, I hope to never see one again for the rest of my life!

Haven't seen any of these maybugs for a while. Used to get 'em at my parents' old house. They'd fly down the chimney on many evenings and everyone would lose their gooseberry fool lol. They only live for like a day so sometimes we'd come down in the morning and see a dead one at the fireplace. But yeah, them wings are noisy.

So I went to type "bbc.co.uk/news" in the address bar, but mistyped "bbc.co.uk/newsa" instead.

It takes you here

BBC News launched an enhanced news site on Tuesday November 4 1997.

I never had to live through a pandemic when SONM was around

What more proof is needed that it was the better forum?

not having the community (and the forum games) around gives me significantly less reason to stick around here than SONM
