I have those same Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds as you Peter. I like them but sometimes they like to randomly disconnect

bloody marvellous they are

I used one of them with my desktop speakers (Audioengine A5) for a while but ended up replacing it with the DAC I currently use (Audioengine D1) as the windows driver for it was awful and led to constant crashes.

The speakers have now developed an intermittent fault which I'm hoping is just a cabling issue otherwise they too are getting replaced. I've had them for a little over 5 years so they're not that old but it's still a bit too soon to be having to think about buying new ones.

EDIT: spoilered for size.

Do you think they'd still be comfortable while wearing glasses? Wouldn't mind a pair myself.

I used to wear iearbuds but due to the fact that they make my ears bleed due to psoriasis i have to wear over ear headphones. I ended up getting some nice Sennheiser PXC 550-II.

For years I kept buying the same brand of £10 earphones which always broke after less than 6 months. Took the plunge this year with some Jabra Elite 45h headphones which I like. Can't get them working with the Switch though.

In actual answer to the question the various headphones I'm using at the moment are:

Running: TaoTronics Waterproof Bluetooth earbuds. Cheap but do a good job.

Gaming: Logitech G PRO X headset. These were a bit of an indulgence for me as I'd never normally drop more than a few quid on headphones but they have a really nice sound to them and what matters more than anything is that they are incredibly comfortable to wear!

Work: Betron ELR50 earbuds. Cheap and cheerful, do the job they need to and actually have a half decent bass on them as well

You can sometimes luck out and get in ear Sennheiser's for between 15 and 20 quid. They usually last over a year.

PC: Sennheiser HD650s through a JDS EL DAC II and JDS O2 Amp
Portable: Shure SE425 IEMs or AKG Y50 on-ears (both usually through a cyrus soundkey)
Running/Working out: Koss Portapros or the cheap AKG Earphones that came with my phone.
