Its been awhile but I think they were around 140 euro incl shipping. Probably less now cos I see a newer model on there.

Is it worth getting surround sound for headphones? Surely stereo is all you need when the sound source is on your ear.

I have a set of Speed Link Medusa 5.1's for my PC and they are amazing! (Cost about £65 IIRC)

Takes a bit of setting up, but they are worth it.
I actually don't have any desktop speakers, just my Medusa's.. The sound quality is amaze! :D

The ones for the 360 (Turtle Beach?) might be easier to set up as they are done on the optical output... might just be plug'n'play.

My ones have 5 speakers in each ear-cup.. so you can replicate actual surround sound really easily.

Moved to Ask the Forum.

They work by having multiple speaker heads/"cones" in each earpiece allowing for sound to enter your ear from multiple directions.

I've got the Turtle Beach ones and they work amazingly well, certainly needed if you want to play CoD4 properly.

They only have one speaker in each earpiece though, they use Dolby Pro Logic I think it is, basically a way of emulating the 5.1 sound to be able to come out of 2 speakers.
