It's great, and I'm trying really hard not to be a gatekeeping fan, but it's annoying that the unexpected popularity means I have been struggling to play it
For anyone enjoying this who hasn't played the first game, I think the first is probably better, providing you like twin-stick shooters. Situational awareness is easier, friendly fire is more mechanically refined (as the dive-to-prone so bullets pass over you is built in to the fixed plane, rather than relying on player aim and topography), and it has the better set of stratagems at the moment (I think it's a given we'll see things like mechs and vehicles, and the third faction, added in through updates, but at the moment they feel slightly lacking in the sequel).
