help with iTunes

Hello,

My Mum is having issues with her ipad. She's never, ever synched it with a computer and loaded it all up out the box. She's had it for around 2 years and today upon doing the iOS update (usually works absolutely fine) she is now presented with a screen asking for it to be plugged into iTunes.

She obviously has an itunes account but doesn't have a computer. Is there any way she can restore the iPad without it being plugged in? Also, if she plugs it into my laptop would that work? (My laptop obviously has my itunes on it).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yeah, she'll probably have to restore the iPad. Although, sometimes that iTunes symbol will force you to plug it into it, but it just updated the iPad with restoring.
So, stick it into any iTunes and it'll work.

If it wants itunes that's all that sorts it. You may be able to take it to an apple shop and sort it there.
