The Hitman Thread- New elusive target October 27th- November 27th 2023

There's a new permanent level variation for Dartmoor starting tomorrow. Sounds kind of like The Icon but with random targets.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to it. My wife is very keen to explore the gardens and identify the flowers.

Double elusive target today. :dread:

Wonder how easy that one's going to be. I had no idea what I was doing with the last one and had to look it up, and then I failed 'cus I was too open about my intentions after already collecting the files (which didn't go smoothly, either, but I wasn't getting shot during that part).

Well, could have gone better, but at least I succeeded.

Now to wait for the next one.

Really enjoyed that. Got an SA. Poisoned one, scissor to the neck for the other.

I need to do this target today because I keep forgetting.

Damn that new elusive target. It should have been such an easy one. But then I go and mess it up and try rushing for an exit under fire.

I dressed as a waiter and stuck a bomb to the back of his chair. Walked out and blew him sky high :lol:

I attempted to do something similar and exploded myself. Why isn't this detonator working I asked as I walked back to the bomb. The first ET I've failed since Hitman 1. And ironically I silent assassined this target when it was in Hitman 1 orignally.

Didn't realise there was a dedicated thread for this. As you may have seen in the ps5 thread, I've been playing Hitman 2 via the free hitman 3 thing. It's my first experience of hitman, and so far im loving the game. Currently in a suburban residential area level hunting down Larry david's dad as the target. I love how you just stumble on things when overhearing conversations. I found something buried in a garden outside the target's house, and stumbled on a secret tunnel to his house completely by accident while snooping around.

Have you attempted any elusive targets yet?

I'm sure Hitman 1 was also given away with PS Plus so download the legacy dlc for that and see if you have access to it via Hitman 3.

I thought that but it's not in my list. I let my subscription lapse for a while, so maybe it appeared during that time.

As I'm using free hitman 3, I don't think I have access to them.

Did the PS+ version include the New York and Maldives levels? They were originally DLC but they're brilliant, like the rest of the game.

The sniper challenge levels are a pretty fun aside too but they're hidden somewhere in the main menu so you might not even have found them yet.

Turns out I DO have access to hitman through plus, but as it's not the GOTY edition, i dont have the access pass to use it in hitman 3

A mate sent me a workaround, where you load hitman 1, redeem the export, load hitman 2, import hitman 1, then load hitman 3 and the GOTY for hitman 1 is available. Convoluted, but I now have the first game to play too :toot:

Good job, as I finished hitman 2 this morning. The last mission was excellent, with lots of differemt ways to deal with everything.

I let the first target walk out of a burning statue posed as the MC, then pushed her off a cliff. Second target I dealt with by impersonating her personal guard, then breaking her neck on some stairs. I then escorted the constant to the escape boat by threatening him with the remote detonator.

Excellent stuff. Time to play the first game now.

I need to see if I can unlock everything inside Hitman 3 now I have Hitman 2 through PS+. I played Hitman 2 through my girlfriend's copy she bought digitally which I think was messing it up before. Hitman 2 through PS+ is just the standard edition though right? So I still won't get the extra levels (that my girlfriend owns and I have played).

It's all very confusing :fp:
