Another example of over-exaggerating crap. Really is a child gonna be influenced to carry a knife and stab someone because of this badge:

I made a couple of errors.

My first was going to see this film in the cinema and the second was going to see the film in the cinema under the impression that the "Batman" character was akin to the "Spiderman" character in that he had been bitten by a bat and had superpowers.

The film really was rubbish though, aside from the visuals - the plot was extremely confusing and at times was truly ridiculous and quite why anyone would want to spend any more money on this is beyond me. I'm sad to see hmv carrying merchandise for it because there are better films which they could be promoting.

I'm going to keep saying it because when this comes out on DVD there will no doubt be similar people to me sucked in by the hype who don't realise that NONE of the characters in the film have superpowers.

 I'm going to imitate you for awhile. I want to see how funny it is first hand.

Everyone knows Batman does not have super powers. Batman is a symbol. He is THE best superhero in that he doesn't have superpowers but he's a symbol of hope and justice. He is closer to reality than any other superhero. Batman is a badass. Forget Spiderman, what a ******.

The design on that badge is crap anyway.

All TDK merchandise looks gooseberry fool actually. The poster designs, t-shirt designs, etc all look bollocks.

If this really is the truth then why did the film not explain that none of the characters have superpowers before the action began?

I don't think it's naive to go to see a film with a character called "Batman" believing that this is indeed a fusion of a bat and a man.

Batman is gooseberry fool. Not even a proper superhero, just a rich kid with a chip on his shoulder, a butler, a camp sidekick, and an obsession with black.

You are so correct and I spent my entire time in the cinema (close to THREE HOURS!) wishing that I was next door watching Wall-E again.

If you want to see a none-superpowered hero, look no further than The Punisher. It's a sad indictment of Batman that his prinicipal adversary is roughly 4300% more interesting than he is.

He starts off as emo. Then he does it for Gotham. He wants to quit. Harvey Dent is his hope. Then it goes wrong. TDK is amazing.

The man watched his parents get killed when he was a child. Being haunted by a memory like that is hardly strawberry floating emo now, is it?
