The Goblin Rebellions were a series of rebellions in which the goblin population of the wizarding world revolted against discrimination and prejudice toward their kind by wizards and witches. They were most prevalent during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, but even in modern times, there were subversive goblin groups working in secret against the British Ministry of Magic, according to the Daily Prophet. The historical rebellions had been described as "bloody and vicious".
Oof, this is going to go down the "shut up about the House Elves, Hermione!" route isn't it?
Ah, so in this story, the hook-nosed goblins who run the banks are revealed to be secretly conspiring to undermine society? Classic Jo.
In fairness isn't the Daily Prophet meant to be a Daily Mail style tabloid, so in universe it makes sense for it to be peddling racist conspiracies. It's just that, like every other goddamn thing in these books, there's only one wizards newspaper in each country so there's no room to counter that outside of what the characters say and do. Which again isn't that much of a problem until your series of seven kids books becomes an ever expanding universe of nonsensical lore.
The Mrs is a HUGE Harry Potter fan, she's already preordered it for herself to play on the Xbox One in the lounge despite never really playing games before
Can see me picking it up as well for the PS5 down the line, depends on reviews but from the looks of the video it looks fantastic.

There's all manner of transphobes and bigots in traditional media, I'm sure she would have eventually written a Sunday opinion column on denying healthcare to trans children.
Oh, they'll get it running. It might be scaled down in terms of effects and such, but they will get it running. Assuming they don't quietly abandon it.
I originally was interested in this game but the more that comes out about it the less interest I have! Unless after its release there is great reviews about it I am probably going to give it a miss.
You just know there's going to be two types of reviews when this comes out. Those that talk about the situation around supporting it, and those that completely ignore it.
