Another answer would be that the most obvious conclusion is probably correct.

Like when has a game ever shown pre alpha footage 6 months before launch?

A vertical slice/cinematic takes time and effort to put together. So, why hold off for when you next have a build you're happy with to make a demo, when pre-alpha demo, made while things aren't as hectic at the studio, will do as good a job? Saying all that, I don't think it'll launch soon.

March 2021 would be four years since the last one, right?

I just watched the trailer again, having only seen it once on the night on an iffy stream.

Absolutely stunning, really looking forward to the underwater stuff.

I wish the whole game was underwater. The colours look so vibrant.

November 30th 2021. I will give every active forumite ten English pounds if this does not happen.

Do games often come out on a Tuesday?

Would be muy surprised if this is out before Q3 of the year. They’ve had 4 years making it I guess...big studio...gah, who knows? Here’s hoping because the first one was just incredible, was the first game I played all Pro’ed up, on the new telly, and it blew me away.

I had my pro, but not my new tv, so I've had half the experience. We didn't fire it up for 5 mins to see it on the tv and it looked amazing, but that was that. Still yet to get the frozen wilds though.

Frozen Wilds is also excellent.
OT but the ‘complete edition’ of the 1st game is currently £10.39 on the PS Store, which is frankly ridic. Insane value.
