I have been playing Amnesia. It is bloody scary! I don't know why though.
That second water level, the one where it chases us, I wasn't expecting that! And hiding in the closet in the guest room... Scary. I like how there are so many little things, for example opened a draw and skulls came flying out, was not expecting that either.

It's that time again!

looking at my backlog i think this month I'll finally get round to playing Dead Space and Silent Hill: Downpour both on X360

I remember starting DS back when it first came out.....it made me jump a little and I kinda stopped playing :shifty:

Is there a Halloween Steam sale? I seem to remember there being one a while back. About a year ago, probably.

New ones to check this Halloween;

I bought Clock Tower 3 for the PS2 a couple of years ago - might be a good time to start playing it.

I played the first level of Eternal Darkness last night and the atmosphere is fantastic. I can't believe how good it sounds, especially for something that is over ten years old. As soon as I heard Edgar Allen Poe's intro, I grabbed my headphones to really appreciate the voice acting.

There were a couple of graphical glitches in Dolphin so I'll try to fix them before I play it next. They weren't too annoying and it still looks good about 99% of the time so I'm not too worried about them.

When I played it on the GameCube, I chose the red artifact so I went for the blue one this time for more of a challenge. I'm hoping to play some more tonight and finish it off tomorrow.

I'm having booze and streaming horror games from my Xbox tomorrow night.

Layers of Fear just popped up on the Xbox One preview so I get an hour free of PT style horror goodness. Also got The Evil Within, Zombi, Dying Light and others to play. :dread:

Bought Bloodborne (again) in that PSN sale so I'll be streaming a new playthrough of that tomorrow night.

Shame Bloodborne: The Old Hunters isn't out yet, I'd have definitely been playing that.

I've been playing Corpse Party: Book of Shadows on the Vita...it's so horrible and grisly ;_;

Funny how each chapter has a lot of 'bad' and 'good' endings, but the latter are rarely good in any capacity!
