Icurrently I'm working in the Basque country. I'm going to have a drink and go to bed early. Maybe get a train to the nearest town and have dinner. strawberry float the UK.

I'm in Fuerteventura. Going to eat Spanish food all day and will have a quiet drink at 11pm. Will try to avoid the British news channels all day.

Happy Brexit Day Everyone!! WE DID IT!!

I truly thought this day would never come .

I'm going out after work so I'll get drunk and possibly end up in a fight.

I don't even want to think about it

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

I'm making a mental list of all the foreigns I know around here that have a better car and house than me, then I will blast rule Britannia from my record player at the stroke of 11 as they are marched from their houses and sent back to where they came from. Then I shall swim in my pile of money now that I don't have to give it to the bloody Germans!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was an odd time when Remainers like you were united with Leavers in your belief that Brexit would never happen. You had optimism, they had cynicism but it was about the only time (other than hatred of Theresa May!) the country has been in agreement.

One thing we are going to see lots of over the coming weeks/months is Leavers saying "See! We told you the sky wouldn't fall in!". Some of them will be unaware of the transition period but some of them are going to be deliberately misleading people about it.

Their plan now is going to be limiting their responsibility for the disaster by pretending all the way through 2020 that everything is great. "See, we haven't collapsed!!". Then in 2021 (when transition ends) they will say "Oh but Brexit happened over a year ago, this is nothing to do with Brexit!".

And people will believe it.

Not a lot.
Watching episode 2 of Picard and going swimming but that's about it. I voted to stay in but our side lost and it's a shitter but there's not a lot we can do about it now. Maybe I'll have some cake to commiserate the occasion.

Working in Barcelona, then soon off to Copenhagen, Frankfurt and beyond.

Bollocks to Brexit.

Good morning. At 11 pm tonight, flags from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest freedom battle in this history of stupidity.

Stupidity -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.

We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore.

We will be divided in our common interests.

Perhaps its fate that today is the 31st of January, and you will once again be fighting for our stupidity, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from gammons.

We're fighting for our right to eat more spam.

And should we win the day, the 31st January will no longer be known as Brexit day, but as the day when the UK dismantled in one voice:
