I did a mobile test earlier on 4g. I got 18mbps on 2 bars of signal.. Which is 2mb more than at home.

I still get download speeds of 1.8mbs on average off a good torrent, so it all works out.

After 3 months of ballache I've FINALLY got my FTTC internet back. It's only half the speed of the last place but it's infinitely better than the 3G sim card I've had to tether around the house...



Actually get 44 down and 10.8 up (using Usenet and FTP), so I'm finally back out of disastrously bad internet territory again. YAY!

Much better than I was expecting. When I used to have BT I didn't even get 1mb download speed.

Virgin really need to start working on their upload speeds a bit, it is great that their download is awesome but if up isn't great too you will still see lag..

Used to get 8Mb/s download till I got round to upgrading my router from a shitty old one.

I'd switch to Infinity, but its ridiculously expensive compared to standard internet.

Just phone and got my package upgraded.

20mb -> 100mb (was going to 50mb anyway), free weekends and evenings, TV and Tivo (didn't want but the bundle came with and couldn't be talked out)

All for less than I was paying for (once non-free calls accounted for)
