The switches have arrived but I've got to pay £19 customs charges before Royal Mail will deliver them.

Not too bad I suppose, I might be able to claim it back anyway.

Switches are here and bloody hell they're so sensitive, literally only have to lightly touch them to activate.

Its been a while since I put this on the back burner but I'm pleased to announce that I will soon be having another attempt at coming up with a workable gaming setup.

Have ordered one of These to use alongside an Xbox Adaptive Controller which will allow me to position an analog stick wherever necessary (be it under my chin, hand or even foot).

Hopefully this time will have a more successful outcome.

Edit: I've also seen this switch which might prove useful.

I back kerr's thoughts up, Ironhide - good luck with this development! The stick and switch both look neat; it'd be great if there was a way in which they could work for you as, in tandem with the Xbox adaptive unit, it would be a really cool setup.

It's outrageous how overpriced those switches are, feels like it's preying on people like yourself. I wish I had the means to make some equivalent stuff for you because you shouldn't be having to pay that sort of money for what those are.

Glad you can actually get the stuff though, it's great you can still find ways to play :)

I guess they don't make them in mega numbers so the cost never comes down for production?

Yes that's what it is, and every one will be hand made because of it, but it seems exploitative (is that a word?).

The analog stick has arrived, not had the opportunity to test it yet though.

The packaging was literally just the stick wrapped up in brown paper inside a FedEx box, I suppose it's more environmently friendly at least.
