Simple: read the colour name, visualise the colour in your head, then open the corresponding spoiler box. You get a point for each colour you got right.

I knew all but one of those - mostly from playing RTS games and Pokemon games lmao

That's... all of them. Though I'd question vanilla being a colour. (I was probably a bit out on vermillion.)

Alabaster got me. I've never used it in any of my paintings or past projects before!

I memorised all 16,777,216 colours when the PS1 came out.

Got celadon and cerulean mixed up. :fp:

Other than that, a clean sweep.

Like heck does indigo look like that. :capnscotty: I got all of the broad strokes (due to Pokémon again), but I'd question some of these particular interpretations.

I got all the real colours because I'm very smart and you clearly lied about Alabaster not being close to black.

Alabaster, Vanilla and Celadon were the only ones I really couldn't visualize, the rest were close enough I guess.

Edit: Magenta and Fuscia are the same colour, the hex value (FF00FF) is identical.

Dan, why do you hate chartreuse?

I got around 15. But a lot of them are common names of hobby paint colours, so I feel like that's sort of cheating a bit. I wouldn't have known them otherwise!

I stopped at indigo because that isn’t indigo.

The problem with doing this in an RGB colour space is that it’s not how things are coloured in the real world. Your screen (and these coloured squares) are formed by adding various intensities of red, green and blue and *emitting* them but real colour is the *absorption* of every *other* colour from whatever light it’s reflecting at you

The magenta and fuchsia colours are the same there. If we take fuchsia from the flower, it's got more red in it. Magenta is correct.

Ones missing include ochre, sienna, maroon, and, well, brown.

I'll just be a dick and throw anthracite in there.

Anyone who’s got a carved alabaster holiday souvenir knows that the colour there is right, more or less.
