I use hotels as often as I need to. Any more or any less would be just weird.

I rarely go on holiday as I prefer to have lots of long weekends.

Not very often for me, about 3 times a year tops.

I have 870 nights over the past seven years in Marriott/Starwood alone.
They are now the biggest hotel chain since the Starwood take over a couple of years back

95% of those members stay less than 10 nights a year and don't really hold any status, bit you do get benefits like free WiFi just for registering.

500 million isn't that surprisingly considering the program life span and amont of low stay customers.

We holiday a lot, but don’t always use hotels, do tobably a few nights a year. Though our 5 weeks in Asia was almost exclusively hotels. We stayed in two five star hotels which were both fabulous, blowing nearly a months salary on each. (The kind RichardUK probably uses when his house is slightly messy ) and had an unfortunate experience with an absolute hovel in Korea.

I wouldn’t mind Marriott losing my data compared to the amount of daily spam I get from booking.com about every place I’ve ever been curious about visiting.

Also, I know the travel industry pretty well and I would be utterly amazed if it's 500 million individuals. It must be counting duplicates.

Stayed at a Starwood last year, was work paid though so don't think my cc details will be on file. Place was deece.

I stay at hotels a healthy amount. Once every few months for Pokemon tournaments. I’m super low expectation and maintainence, purely do it based on cheapest. Travelodge usually get my business here in the uk as a result.

A heap will probably also be business accounts

I dont remember being in a hotel. Bar once in Bulgaria. I know I did when going away as a kid, but, yeah...

maybe a few years ago but sadly not anymore (unless my family are paying) now it’s all Premier Inns or Holiday Inns, but I really don’t mind them, they are clean, modern and have comfortable beds

strawberry floatin love the beds at premier inn. For the £40 it costs they’re really good.
