Went cinema yesterday to see Indiana Jones followed by dinner at Wagamama :toot:

Today I went for a long walk followed by a food shop. Tonight I’ve been playing on the Switch with Mummy Returns on in the background

Today I went for a meal at a Garden Centre. my father in law has been in hospital for about 10 days as he broke his leg and had a general bit of poor health and it was as a treat for him, although I did grab a bit of weird food stuff to do videos on. I think the highlight of my weekend has either been being on Pedz podcast which I always enjoy or the few hours I got to try Hokko Life on the Switch. Apart from that its seemed quiet tiring.

My last 10 days have been very very tiring have been taking the misses to see her dad in hospital every day apart from 2 days where we went away on a trip .... it was a trip to the great yorkshire show which was supposed to be for her mum and dad but they couldn't go due to his leg and her poor health, she had a mini stroke a few weeks back. My misses is in a wheel chair and we couldnt take her electric one so I pushed her for like the whole of the time we were at the great Yorkshire show and a lot of it was on grass or up slopes and a lot of stopping and starting as people ran in front of you... we got back Thursday evening but been so busy this weekend I dont think I have recuperated yet.

I had a pretty good one.

My wife and i went to see a guy called Teddy Swims on Friday at the o2 Academy in Birmingham. Really fun gig. My Mum was down for the weekend to help with my son and as my wife was working Saturday we watched him and took him out to a garden centre with a soft play. Then my mate who recently split with his wife wanted to meet for a pint in the evening. One turned into four and after he left to go to a poker night I stopped in at the pub round the corner from my house on the way home and had 2 pints with my 64 year old neighbour discussing everything wrong with modern music :slol:

Woke up abit worse for wear today but swerved the "I told you so" by mowing the lawn, doing the food shop and cooking a sunday dinner. Then watched the end of the Wimbledon final and played some Splatoon 3 with my brothers online before squeezing in a quick 30 min run to sweat out anything left of the hangover.

There was a slight odour, but nothing significant. Which is a shame, as I'd like to have shown off my skills in that type of environment.

It might work as a temporary fix, but I don't think a tablecloth is going to work as a permanent replacement for the ceiling.

Went clubbing on Friday night and got home at 5:30am. Was a really good night with decent DJs compared to last Friday night when I went and a nice crowd too.

Finally picked up a PS5 and Final Fantasy XVI but Argos sent me the wrong TV so had to hold off setting it up.

Saturday went for lunch at Wholefoods in Piccadilly Circus, as I love their American style buffet. Lasagne, spicy chicken wings, macaroni cheese, sweet potato and some veg. Then went to the gym.

Sunday went for Sushi at my usual place in Shoreditch where I had some fresh yellow tail. Then went for a walk in Columbia Road flower market followed by the gym again.

Better than using the in-laws though

Had a nice date day in Newcastle with the wife on Saturday.
We went to a Teppenyaki restaurant for lunch which was a lot of fun, she even got to go up and try the flipping an egg into her chef hat. Also went to a dog cafe where we got to pet and play with a bunch of small dogs that were just utterly adorable, including one that just permanently had its tongue stuck out to the side of its mouth. Did some shopping, checked out the Grainger markets before finishing off with a dinner at the Fat Hippo.

It's my son's 5th birthday today so the weekend was all about that - had a family gathering at ours on Saturday that took up the whole day more or less, and then yesterday went to Legoland. Actually quite relieved to be home alone working now, I'm knackered :slol:
