I've been reading this all from the start as i know I'd have been crap at playing, so I thought I'd watch instead. It's been one hell of a brilliant game, I wouldnt have never guessed that OR was the hacker! That really surprised me, that and the sheer amount of bots at the end of the game.
I'm really looking forward to reading the write up now.

Of course it's fine! It's great to hear from a spectator. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it.

I know OR is actually on holiday this weekend* but I'm sure he'll be grateful for all of these comments too when he sees them.

* I keep imagining him sitting in a pub having to tell his IRL friends "guys leave me alone for a bit, I have to post a comment to this videogames website at exactly 9.59 to ensure I win an Internet forum roleplaying game", and it's bringing me a lot of joy

Thanks for running the game Karl, it was good fun and lots of unique game mechanics.

I was starting to think the nanomods were giving out too many seers and that it should be an easy victory, but presumably the bots were recruiting which balanced things out.

I'd be interested to see a timeline of events happening on the bots side just to understand when people turned and what the special nanomods were all about.

For my game, I initially came up with fake nanomod as a long-term trap, hoping that someone at some point would say they had got the same nanomod. At the time I assumed hackers didn't get nanomods and had no idea anyone would be able to see another player's mods, both of these then made the plan pointless.

Very early on I had suspicions that Moggy was a bot. With no hard evidence, just gut feeling, I didn't say much about it other than vote for him to be lynched. Ob voting the same way ended up being my undoing.
In my last day I was pretty sure Hyperion was a bot, I suspected him out of the few unseered players left and then saw he was saving a vote rigger nanomod. All looked very suspicious.

Who vigi-killed me in the end?

This was fun to play and fun to read following my elimination. The flavour text in particular was very enjoyable. Thanks for running this Karl and gg everyone.

I was the second recruit after Hexx. Kind of peeved I got shot right at the end after managing to walk the tightrope of just remaining unseered for so long but I reckon I took the bullet for OR right at the last minute so glad my sacrifice was not in vain.

Great game Karl, thanks for running it.

I couldn’t believe how my game played out. I was a good guy and called Hexx out and managed to get everyone onboard to lynch him. I also sent through a vigi kill order on Staydead as I didn’t trust him (I was wrong there, although it turned out right!).

While the vote was going on, I was turned into a bot and so was told that Hexx was a bot (I strawberry floating knew it!!). I figured that flip flopping would make me look guilty, so went all out on convicting Hexx so that I’d look like I was still one of the good guys. I left the kill order on Staydead as I knew then he wasn’t a bot and so was therefore my prey.

And I would’ve gotten away with it if it wasn’t for you pesky Lagamorph’s. :x

I'm sat in a pub with my friend who is drinking in silence as I'm on my phone, I showed him this and he agrees 100%.

This was a fantastic game and I'm looking forward to posting my thoughts when I'm more free!

Well played to drum in particular. I will always remember our snorlax fight :toot:

You and Ob were 100% wrong btw! When you were both coming after me, I was a good guy! I was turned after you both calmed down and stopped accusing me.

That’s when I went after you. My plan was to get you bumped off as killing Hexx should have made me above suspicion (damn you Laga!). I was content to pretend that Ob was just an idiot/trolling me, I figured going after both of you too strongly would have raised suspicion.

Oh and the best moment by a long long way, possibly the best in forum game history, was Denster doing that vote rigging. Incredible play and absolutely hilarious.

The bots not being able to discuss anything via PMs made for an interesting challenge.

Also made for a few awkward moments as I recruited Hyperion when I noticed that he had a vote rig mod and then spent the next phase wishing he'd think to vote rig a lynch onto Drummy. I was also thinking Sykes still had his vote rig mod when I was pushing to ensure he was lynched not vigi killed yesterday.

Hexx was dead before I was turned so I'm not sure on the timings of it, but for how much of the argument did you both know you were bots? Part of the reason I had no inclination of scanning you was how vehemently you'd gone after Hexx

Nope, I got a Virus Spreader Nanomod. I assume the Virus Spreaders were the 'duds' for techs. I think I only got one of them in the end.

Probably only a couple of hours. I really laid into him once I was turned though.

I figured it had gone too far to back out so I had to go all in.

I think it was about 3 votes in. He massively went for it after that and I was willing to play up. (While trying to escape)

Bit annoyed to be told I was playing differently after I said I'd be playing differently

I thought Moggy did alright at getting himself ingraciated - but then he got seered. strawberry floating Moggy :x

I did really enjoy the Moggy and Hexx arguement with the knowledge they were both bots. Pretty sure if was only Moggy and Errkal who were lynching Hexx when Moggy flipped and started really going for him

I was waiting with a vote right up until the last minute of that phase to try and see if I could lynch late to save Hexx but I think it was Denster with the penultimate vote on Hexx which put him 2 ahead with a minute left so I sealed the deal.

Ah that's interesting. I stopped drawing mods not long after getting turned as I picked up a vote rig and saved that just in case it was needed.

I was right though, you were a bad bad dude.

After getting turned into a bot I figured it’d work in favour of one of us whatever happened. If you died then I looked good. If I died then you’d look good.

Laga ruined everything though. Damn you Laga, damn you to hell!
