Yeah, it's the first chapter.

Finished the main quests of the demo. It lets you unlock stuff for weapon upgrades and other bonuses. I'm not sure if it'll have a cap on levels though as I will be playing this a lot.

Each of the characters plays very differently. All are great fun.

This is so good

The setting, the nods to BOTW, the music. Performance not great with frame rate dips but to be expected.

3 hours 20 played so far. 6k KO count and link is level 20.

I've still got a 2 things to unlock as I need to find a a type of bug and a few more items.

I've also found a few korok seeds.

Will be interesting to see if it has an adventure mode like Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors do. As they take hundreds of hours to complete.

As a Musou game it's a very good one so far. Hopefully the character variation continues and the game's performance doesn't tank when more enemies are on screen.

Ok I’m really enjoying this. The start is very bizarre as everything feels very obtuse and very little effort seems to go in to setting things up for you. After a little while things start to click though and it's bloody great.

It's like a love letter to Breath of the Wild and gives you the opportunity to geek out like crazy. The story implications are pretty mad to. I wonder if they'll try and have this as an alternate dimension sort of thing

One thing's for sure. This will keep Zelda YouTubers in business for years.

Impa's attacks are great!

I absolutely LOVE her combo strings. Getting the doubles to amplify damage and range is so satisfying, and the fully powered up special attack is a delight. She feels so fast.

I'm really surprised at the reception the game appears to be getting from most folk. It's mainly positive!

Warriors games generally get a pretty rough ride and - despite Hyrule Warriors getting some praise - I'd wondered if putting out a Warriors game in Breath of the Wild clothing could create some negative vibes. The openworld nature of the most recent main line title in the series, Warriors 9, definitely wasn't well-received and it's amazing to see the small differences that can result in failure and success.

Maybe it's Nintendo's involvement that has helped Koei to improve their output. The graphics appear to be in line with Nintendo's original BOTW and, although the gameplay is completely different, the characters and scenarios seem to be closely matched.

This is, of course, a good thing! I'm hoping that Koei's experience of creating the game rubs off onto their production of the upcoming Warriors 10. Has Zelda saved Dynasty Warriors? :o  .

All they need to do for 10 is just make 8 again and pretend like 9 never happened

I have this demo downloaded, haven't played it yet because I started NMH but I did see my girlfriend play a little and it looks great (and quite different to Hyrule Warriors because of all the BOTW specifics and being apparently very much story driven). The actual BOTW map is a neat touch.

I loved my time playing that demo, is all I can say. Two full levels to play through and a few bonus ones as well, giving players a chance to try out the three characters and their differences (though I never got around to using Zelda). I can see myself spending plenty of hours to complete the story of this one.

Played the first mission and was left quite surprised. Performance issues aside, I'm already in love with how it feels. It could be a little tighter and heavier with movement but considering the nature of the game it makes sense to be that way. The combat, tho simple is still mad fun, especially with the branching path combos. Love how different each character feels which will be impressive if they can keep it that way across the whole cast. I didn't play the first one mind but am aware the characters we're also all quite varied.

Was already sold on this but now I'm even more hyped to try dive in. Haven't played a musou game since Dynasty Strike Force on PSP lol.
