The best thing to do is download all the Killzone 2 trailers and then just sit and wait.......

In the meantime Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2 and LPB will do nicely.

Apparently, there's this obscure Japanese videogame called Metal Gear Solid 4. Supposed to be a laugh.

I'm just echoing everything that has been mentioned Ratchet and Clank as well as Resistance are two great games. Maybe see if you can pick up Assassin's Creed on the cheap too.

Look here, you've gone and upset him now.

MGS4 is a great action game but some get tired of it, and if you're not a fan of verbal diorreah and cutscenes (one of which is 90 minutes long) then stay far, far away.

Uncharted is great fun and ratchet is meant to be good as well. Nice since both games are now platinum and can be bought for peanuts!

A copy of SingStar and a PS Eye. Lots of hilarity.

I really did not like MGS4 just so you know.

I did however love Uncharted - still the only must have game for me on the PS3. Ratchet is also very good though. If you do not own a 360 buy some of the 3rd party games available inc Vegas 2 and Burnout Paradise.

I loved the BP demo but when I got the game I realised that it was just the same events over again. I know online is a huge part of the game but it's not really a pure offline racer like the other games were. Which is a shame. Burnout 3 was one of my games of last-gen.

BP is only an online game. I played it for a few weeks but traded it in after becoming bored. However, at £15 for a copy now I may rebuy it to try out the new patches.

Yeah Burnout Single player is just a bore. Got no real desire to finish it, just drive round messing around. Ive put over 40 hours into it now and I do enjoy it but it's stopped from being one of my favourites by the naff single player

Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank are pretty essential if you're after PS3 exclusives. Ninja Gaiden Sigma perhaps, especially if you never played the original.
MGS4 is one of my favourite games this gen, but then I'm a huge fan of the series, you'll probably already know if you'll like it or not.
Resistance and MotorStorm are decent enough, without being spectacular.

Get ye on PSN though, download Siren Blood Curse and Riff: Everday Shooter at least. Win.

Slightly off topic - but does anyone know for sure when the 80GB PS3 is coming out now?

The 22nd, 27th, and 29th have all been dates bandied about by the online retailers.

Seconded.....so many good exclusive titles on the PSN. Pixel Junk series are all worth it, Stardust HD is amazing, Blast Factor is quality and Riff is fun too

Right, i'm gearing up for a PS3 around crimbo time pending on prices

I mainly want exclusives from the console as I find the Xbox handles multi format stuff better

For the run up to christmas and early next year what can we expect?
