PostI'm feeling a little woozy here (VR Topic)

I wanted to keep this away from the normal VR topic so people can come and rate their games against the below woozy scale! I find that most games I can play without feeling nausea however there are some games I just can't play and as not all games come with demo's to try out, to save people money I hope something like this gives people a little perspective.

1 - No problem whatsoever (can play long game sessions)
2 - A little nausea but nothing to stop me playing
3 - Infrequent nausea, can only play for short bursts
4 - Infrequent nausea, can only play certain parts of the game
5 - Can not play whatsoever!

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2
RACE | Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

I suggest games like I Expect You to Die, Statik or Tumble for level 1 no woozy scale as you're just in a static location and just look about on the spot.
All are puzzle games and worth a try but won't give any nausea.

Most VR games I'm generally ok for an hour or so before I start feeling a little nauseous and have to take a break.
Hot weather makes it worse I find, much more comfortable playing VR in a cool environment.

It's very subjective though.

For me there's only 3 games that (On their default settings) have ever gave me any nausea.

Farpoint and Skyrim. Both a 2 as it was very, very mild, though with the correct settings, both are 1's

Wipeout is the only game I've had to stop playing because of it making me feel ill, but again, with the right tweaks to the comfort settings it's 1 or 2.

See I can not play Wipeout which I would rate a 5, i've tried all the settings.

I also struggle with Luge and Scavengers Odyssey which I would put at 4

My misses and her sister can't even do one turn on GT Sport without having to take off the VR but I can do busts

If teleport movement is available, then games are a 1 for me.
For example
The Invisible Hours
Skyrim (Teleport mode)
Everest (Experience)

Static position also a 1
For Example
Pinball FX2 VR
Bandit Six: Combined Arms

As soon as you introduce movement, I have a problem
Star Wars Battlefront VR mission - 4
REZ VR -4

Driving - nightmare
Driveclub VR - 5

Weirdly I can play the Thumper Demo with no problems - but I think it's because you don't really use peripheral vision.

Smooth turning movement options, like in Skyrim and Farpoint don't feel right for me. But stepped turning, especially if you can adjust the steps, completely removes it for me.

The stuff Lime mentioned as 4's and 5's are all 1's for me.

It's impossible to quantify, beyond some games are perhaps more prone to bring it on. Your Mileage May Vary is the perfect way to describe it.

It’s strange how different people react to different games. I would give driveclub a 3 and starwars a 2.

For me in wipeout its the jumps rather than the speed that really makes me feel sick

Firewall Zero Hour - 1-2 first go switched all controls to free, at first felt a little bit funny but quickly adjusted to it.
Driveclub VR - 1
Batman Arkham VR - 1.
Rush of Blood - 1.
Wipeout Demo - 2 at first but after a lap I was fine so down to a 1.
Robinson - 5 and haven't touched it since, think I need to adjust settings back to default for movement
Doom VFR - 1 so far.
Resident Evil 7 - 1 so far but I haven't really gotten to any enemy sections yet.
Thumper - 1.
Transparency demo - full movement control was a 2-3 for me, default control was a 1.

I've got other games I've yet to try (Here They Lie etc.) and hopefully someone can cover me at work for an hour so I can jump the bus to GAME and collect my Firewall Zero Hour Aim bundle sometime today.

Here They Lie I found everything too close to my eyes. Seems good so far but it’s not nausea I feel but doesn’t feel right
