Hi. My computer broke a couple of months ago, all I got back from the repair shop was the hard drive and there's some photos I wouldnt mind getting off of it, it's 750GB as well so I wouldn't mind using it as external memory.

Any reccomendations for caddys to use so I can use with the laptop I'm getting in a couple of weeks? It's a standard sized hard drive.

If the connector on the hard disk looks like this:

Then get this:

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149268 for 2.5" drives

or

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149272 for 3.5" drives

I bought one for IDE drives off ebay from a US seller for a tenner inc postage. It works perfectly, easy to set up and is USB2 so pretty quick for transfer rates. Came with a US plug though so had to wire a UK 3-pin plug but that's easy so no probs.

T'was this one infact: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT
