A friend of mine was suffering from anorexia, we were at her house and she was eating some pasta and after a few mouthfuls she offered it to me saying she wasn't hungry, without thinking I said "Yeah, I'd better eat that for you, you are looking a bit fat." :fp:

That is quite common in case just one parent wants to go swimming/whatever, so the kid wont need to be all by itself.
