It involved equipment with the Auto-Regen ability and a particular enemy whose attacks delayed your party from taking a turn. In essence every attack the enemy did delayed your party's turn but the Auto-Regen would heal you quicker than he could damage you meaning your party would never get a turn in but the enemy couldn't kill you either leaving you stuck in a permanent loop until you reset the game.

which boss was that?

That's great

Need to take more programming notes from NASA. "All loops must have a fixed upper-bound"

Hollow Knight is incompletable. I got to this part here:

And it's impossible to proceed any further. Game just ends at a wall. Did anyone even playtest this garbage? Can't believe in 2020 we still have buggy games that can't be completed.

oh god this genuinely stumped me for aaaages as a kid.

It didn't help that jumping at juuust the right time caused the platform to move up and down enough so you could get it to go down to where you needed it to be, looking like you needed to then time a jump off it to the left. If the platform didn't wobble you'd figure the "just press down" solution much more quickly.

After months being stuck there when you finaly got to Ice Cap Zone it was soooo magical.

I always managed to time it perfectly to do it with the jump momentum, and just found it annoying. I never knew I was doing it the wrong way until I saw this pointed out as being a roadblock to the rest of the game.

Only in the NTSC version. It was fixed in the PAL version.

It's broken on the PAL version too. If you try to get the trophy on Fat Bear Mountain you clip right through it.
