Quick question.

I'm trying to install FM2009 on my laptop. It's my brother's copy he no longer uses it.

I tried installing it by the one-time connection authentication but every time I tried it, it just claimed that no internet connection could be found (which made no sense as my connection was fine).

Before I re-install it and try to authenticate it by way of Steam (which I don't already have installed on my laptop btw) I just want to clarify:

Will it work?

Or because it's already been used on one computer, does that mean that this copy won't be able to be used on another? (It does say 'Do not lend or make illegal copies of this disc' on the disc itself)

Just hoping to confirm so I don't waste my time trying.
