Amico as it originally existed needs to be consigned to the dumpster of history. I also think the brand name is far too tarnished amongst the gaming community to ever really be able to salvage.
Given it's history though, Intellivision deserves to survive, even if it is simply as a brand.
What I think would make more sense would be for Atari to put out a system explicitly designed to play older retro games. Think the Evercade VS but with Atari branding, and an online storefront.
Something with scope for smaller indie games to be published on as well.
